750ml bottle, clean golden color, with a frothy white head, leaving some belgian lacing, nice spicy, fruity, yeasty nose, with some apple sauce, ripa apple esters, with a mild floral leafy, grassy, citrus hoppy accent in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a good yeasty, fruity, spicy, doughy, light honeyed pale, toasted malt character, with some mild zesty, spritzy, peppery flowery leafy, grassy, citrus hoppy flavours, with a lemon pie crust, faint lemon marmalade undertone, leading towards a yeasty, spicy, spritzy, lemon, grapefruit peel, lingering grassy, citrusy hop dry bittering finish.

On tap at Le Saint-Bock - Montreal, QC. Aroma carries a slightly catty, base malt twinged aroma. This is terse and a bit biting, with qualities reminscent of Fantome’s off-the-wall eccentricity. The gummy hoppiness runs up against dry minerals and a good malty base. It’s funny, though, side-by-side with the Jandrain I’d just had, this doesn’t hold a candle for a light, wheaty, funky brew. Good, not great.

750ml green bottle. Golden colour, pouring very clear. Impressive dense white foam is clingy and long lasting. Nose has sweetish orange and some lemon peel, grass notes build and spiciness emerges halfway through the bottle. Taste has citrusy fruitness, some floral notes, bready malt, light grassy hop taste and some yeast at the end. Pleasant bitterness with herbal/grassy notes, medium hoppy aftertaste, mild spice. Medium body, lots of carbonation. Well executed.

Yeast bomb saison with tons of fruity esters. Pear banana and melon with some dirty bready yeasty malts. I dig it.

Pours orange, not really clear, with brighter white head and some lacing. The aroma is sweet, pleasant, with some subtle toffee and grassy notes. The flavor is sweet, smooth, and a bit of grassy saison yeast with almost vanilla notes, as Steve had suggested I got them right away! Pretty nice for a saison from Canada!

Thanks, Tommy. Yellow-orange body with loads of white head that looks like meringue. Funky citrus lemon aroma. Taste is slightly citrus acidic, grapefruit, sweet malts, vanilla. Nice.

TAP at Delirium cafe Brussels. Shared with Mathieu87. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small unstable white head. NOSE: hoppy, citrus, fruity, fresh. TASTE: hoppy, bitterness which was not expected when just sniffing the beer, but it’s not too much, little dry, quite fruity, some tobacco in the mouth
