Fresh fruit aroma with vinous white grape and some citrus in front of faint spicy noble hops. Almost clear gold under a lacy, lasting, white cover. Peppery phenolic up front in the flavor in front of pleasant fresh grapes and spicy, herbal hops. Woody bitterness is subtle. Effervescent high carbonation, light body, faintly sour finish.

750ml bottle. Clear straw body with a huge white head, excellent retention. Aroma of yeast, mango, peach, cereals, peppercorn and a touch of sourness. Taste is a nice mix of yeast and herbal hops bitterness, peppercorn and fruits, sweet malt and biscuit. Refreshing.

750ml bottle – decants a straw-gold hazed ale in the glass with a frothy white 2 finger cap. Heavy effervescence – be careful how you pour this or you’ll put half of it on the floor in foam. Aroma is both floral and fruity with a touch of earthiness. Spritzy fruity character with a decent pale malt spine and sharp hopping. Flavour is pale malt core with a very hoppy and lightly bitter override – clean, sharp on the palate, short lean finish. Very refreshing and satisfying at the same time.

750 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a hazy golden colour with large, puffy white head. Aroma is wheat, zesty citrus and pepper. Flavour has Belgian yeast, wheat, lemon zest and light peppery spiciness. Nice.

Bottle 750 ml
Aroma: strong wheat notes , slight grassy feel with soft wheat wrap. Aromatic rendering of weizen.
Look: clear golden with large creamy off white top. Remnants of lace. Handsome.
Taste: full bodied. Golden malts blended with wheat softens on Belgian yeast. Nice play. I am not sure if I would put this under saison. Belgian wheat with American bend.

750 mL bottle. Bit of a gush when opened. Golden with a big, beautiful, white head. The head quickly fades to a small, sticky lump. The aroma is middling in strength, and quite earthy, with that typical Belgian note in the background. Flavour is fairly typical at first, but it finishes dry and bitter. (For the style). Nice.

It pours gold coloured with a slight reddish tint; the head is off-white and mousse-like. The aroma has notes of: sweet malts, pepper, orange-zest, and a very slight vanilla. The taste is light sweet that finishes medium dry; there are notes of: orange-zest, pepper, grapefruit-zest, and alcohol. The palate is medium-light boded, medium carbonation (medium bubbles), and a medium bitter finish. Overall, a letdown considering the brewery’s reputation.

750mL Likbo. Hazy gold with a huge white head. Aroma: citrus, Belgian malt body, yeast, minor funk but that might just be my imagination. Flavour: Quite nice, loads of pale malt and Belgian-esque malt character with some dull feeling yeast and booze. It’s not unpleasant but I’m surprised at how ’strong’ this one tastes considering its only 6%. A touch of pepper in the finish and lingering malty notes. This brewery is consistently top-notch and I really appreciate that. It paired great with my grilled codfish.

750 mL bottle. Pours straw yellow with a thick white head. Big yeasty aroma with apple, banana and spicy phenols; clove and allspice. Mild cotton candy sweetness, super smooth and very refreshing. A touch of earthy funk here as well as it warms up a little. Fine champagne like texture. A damn tasty saison, but I’m a sucker for the style.

Mainly belgian yeast, some clove, slight sourness, sweet smell. Looks nice, hazy yellow with long lasting white foamy head. Highly carbonated, very clean upfront, don’t get much till the carbonation dies down, belgian yeast mainly on the finish with a good amount of hop bitterness on the tongue and a hint of sourness. Medium bodied and very dry. Good and unique.
