Bottle (500 ml). Clear golden with a huge creamy white head and nice lacing. Aroma of belgian yeast, spices, malt, fruits and citrus. Taste of malt, belgian yeast, spices and slight bitter finish. Medium body. Not so complex but well balanced and easily drinkable. Very good Belgian Ale!

Corps juste assez robuste. Rafraichissante et pas trop lourde.

500mL bottle, pours a clear golden blonde with a large frothy white head. Aroma is big on the Belgian yeast, cereal malt, and some light fruits. Flavour is very pleasantly yeasty, doughy and fruity (with bananas, apples and pears), lightly hoppy as well. Finish leaves a yeasty, doughy and lightly fruit combination. Very pleasant and easy-to-drink. Great one.

Hum. Épices belges et soupçon d’herbes et d’agrumes. Bon équilibre. Alcool pas trop présent. Illustration sur l’étiquette douteuse.. mais très bonne bière!

500 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits (Halifax). Pours a cloudy bright golden colour with modest-sized white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast with a fairly prominent spiciness. Flavour is also quite yeasty with some fruit notes (banana, apple) and spices/herbs. Medium body; active carbonation. Straight-forward and nice.

500ml bottle poured into tulip. Pours a nice golden yellow with a equally nice big head. Very beautiful. Aroma is of belgian yeast, spices, coriander, and floral hops. Can’t seem to be able to describe the malt aspect on this one though...Taste is a well-balanced medium/low-sweet and same thing for the bitterness. Body is rather full and texture is creamy. Carbonation is pretty lively, if you ask me, and finish is medium in lenght and on the bitter/hops end. Overall a really nice brew, but it’s from Charlevoix so it ain’t a big surprise. I’ve yet to have been deceived by them in fact. Well done!

Hazy golden yellow in colour with a large white head, good retention, good lacing. The aroma is of yeast, apples, some bananas, spice, light alcohol, pale malts. The flavour is slightly sweet, lightly bitter, some yeast and very light alcohol, herbal and fruity. Sweet mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, some spice and yeasty.

Um, this is pretty good. Wonderful balance between the spice and sweetness, alcohol well hidden.

500ml bottle from Marché Omni in Gatineau, Quebec.
Opened on April 4, 2011.
Bottled on December 21, 2010.
