3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle picked up from Lubiere, cellared only bit a few months and well within the fresh by period. Yellow with carbonation bubbles and a soapy white head. Hoppy and yeasty aromas. A very decent yeast, perhaps two, is used. Very good drinkability. IBU but 12 yet tastes more pronounced. A good mouthfeel. Very good rep of the underappreciated Belgian pale style. Another well crafted by this brewery.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Has an exceptionally nice big white head and a very nice clear gold body. Soft fruity grain aroma that is held back by aggressive carbonation. Flavour is witbier notes over top of a slightly weak mouthfeel. Not bad, quite drinkable.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2012 Rerate - Pale golden pour with a thick rocky head. The aroma is great - fresh crackery malt and a very lean spiciness in addition to some minty/honeyish cooling character. A little bit of peppery ethanol but it’s really lovely. Dry and peppery with a lot of lovely yeasty spice. They really do a great job with their yeast in these dryer style brews. Softly yeasty as well. Prickly champagne-like carbonation.
RBSG 2010 in Grand Rapids. Pale golden pour. The nose is loaded with fresh pilsner malt. Soflty spicy with a bit of mixed crackery/fruity malt base. Lean-bodied, fresh and spicy. A bit of clove and fresh lean dry malt. It’s earthy but spicy. Dry yet complex. Pretty damn nice stuff.
