Great beer. Overall nice. I would call it a winter beer, heavy on the stomach. Nice alcool ratio doesn’t taste too much.

500ml bottle from William J. Walter. Golden, cloudy with a thick off white head. I can smell the strong belgian yeast, it is prominent, nothing else. Same thing with the taste, a classic and well done, but nothing more. Medium bitterness, oily texture and lively with a long finish.

50 cl bottle @ home. Bottled 31.10.2013
Aroma is rather soapy with citrus and apricot. Somewhat foamy palate. Flavour is leathery with some apricot, fruity Belgian yeast and hints of cardboard. Rather typical Belgian blonde, I expected more.

lusikka (5927) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 26, 2014
500 ml bottle. Pours a dark golden colour with a small head. Aroma of apricot jam, some sugar and grass. Flavour of sweet apricot, grass, yeast and some bitterness. Very Belgian in it’s sweetness. Medium bodied and a bit foamy mouthfeel. Finishes sweet and jam-like. Alcohol comes through. Quite boring and not my thing.

Bottled 2013 10 31 - Pours yellowish with a foamy head. Aroma of yeast, fruits and spices. Taste is smooth, yeasty and carbonated with some spicy notes and hints of fruits. Finish is spicy, yeasty and fruity with lots of carbonation. Decent Belgian ale.

50 cl bottle. Bottled on 31.10.2013.
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Aroma of herbs, lemon, yeast, some toffee and ripe fruits. Flavor of fruits, toffee, yeast and spices. Decent but a bit too straightforward, alcohol comes through a bit too.

Big white head, lasting. Lot of lacing. Hazy pee-colored. Banana-saison smell. Fruity. Green apple. Very good.

Idiosynkrasie (3578) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - APR 9, 2014
500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with huge, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Saison-like, yeasty aroma, fruity hints of orange, a herbal touch. Taste is dry, spicy and floral yeasty, a touch of coriander, a grainy touch, subtle sweetness. "Belgian" somehow in the sense of a Saison and Wit crossover. Nice.
