3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JulienHuxley (1749) - Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 13, 2013
On tap at bateau de nuit. Clear gold pour, white head. Light corn aroma, malty bready cereals, some grassy hops, very light citric twang. Taste is sweet, a tad watery, very easy drinking. I don’t know how much adjunct they use for this pale lager, but it is definitely not insulting. I actually enjoyed this.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Minderbinder (824) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 18, 2012
On that at brewpub.
Pours pale blond with low white head. Some lacing. Aroma is of corn. Taste is of corn, sligthly bitter. Overall: Bland. Not my kind of stuff. No real flaws detected. Indeed, loads of better beers to drink from that brewery...
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Eructoblaster (2518) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 27, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Blond body with a fair white foamy head. Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with light flowery and herbal hints. Its well balanced malty/hoppy taste carries grainy notes and ends with a decent bitter/grainy finish. Good introduction to craft beers.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 BeerGolem (505) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 2, 2012
Sample on tap at Saint-Pub (Baie Saint-Paul). Pours crystal clear yellow with little frothy white head. Nothing special with the aroma: hops and malts. Taste is bitter for the style. Strong carbonation. Better than most Pale Lager, but still a very ordinary beer.

A blonde lager with a thin white head. In aroma, a sweet biscuit malt with light mineral notes, herbal Czech hops. In mouth, a smooth biscuit malt, crisp, light hopping and mineral notes, chalkyness, nice and quaffable. On tap at Espace Public, Feb. 24, 2012.

On tap at brewpub. Nice straw yellow clear color. Persistent white head. Tastes slightly sweet, a touch of grain. Very light hoppy finish. A lager that is very reminiscent of what can be found pretty much everywhere, all the time.
