beerbuzzmontreal (2660), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Feb 27, 2007 Pours an orange anmber color with a medium bubbly offwhite head. Good aroma and flavor of biscuity malt, fruits and sweetness with a bitter finish. The body is medium to full with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. Very interesting. Lubiere (3122), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jan 31, 2007 Reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. A pleasant fruity aroma with light caramel, light bananas and fusel alcohol. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with nuts, and light aniseed. A bit thin. Oily mouthfeel. On tap at Vices Versa, Dec. 16 2006. with ProbstK. (Rating #847) LadySusan (348), Ste-Therese, Quebec, Canada Jan 17, 2007 I had this beer at Vices et Versa. The color is reddish with an beige head. You can taste some sweet caramel with also fruitiness. The presence of hops is quite noticeable. All in all a good beer. Rastacouere (5189), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Nov 12, 2006 Clear dark orange hue wearing a tight off-white head and hiding a garden of fruitiness in its outspoken malt showdown. Light and cohesive balancing hops procure the balance it needs, but what remains after finishing your pint is pretty much a sense of guilt, this is rather thick and sensuous for an Oktoberfest. Notes of oranges, woodsy vegetal hops and mild earthiness shine through the otherwise rather linear and basic ingredients flavours. An original and inspired take, but a bit too sweet to have me repeat the experience time and time again.
