Tap. Copper IPA, slightly hazy, with a nice head. Inviting aroma of herbal and grassy hops with sweet notes. Taste is very dry because of a most probable very clever dry-hopping with some high-class English hops (I could be wrong but it’s really what it reminds me). Some cerealish and sweet distant notes; I can’t say I really dintinguish the rye effect. But I really appreciate the deepness and multi-layers of that great hoppiness. Very, very good beer! If I seem generous, know the outside temperature was 29 celcius today...

On tap at Vice et Versa. The color is a hazy orange with a thick beige head. The aroma is of hops and sweet fruits. The taste has a strong hoppy punch to it also rye peaches and some malt. The taste in your mouth is sour but the fruitness helps.

Glouglouburp (4781) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 7, 2011
In short: A not-so-rye IPA that offers a nourishing body and tasty hopping. Very good.
How: Tap at Vices & Versa, Montreal
The look: Cloudy rusty-orange body topped by a small off-white head
In long: Nose has a lot of fruity and grassy hops, light piney notes and only a mild rye presence. Taste has a smooth rye presence in a nourishing full body. Juicy and somewhat resinous leafy hops, some fresh pine-needles, light notes of oranges. Finish is somewhat dry and only moderately bitter with a light resinous after-taste. This was quite an enjoyable beer. Another beer I’d drink everyday… anybody knows of a good way to get my beer drinking to reverse spiral back into control?

Bière cuivrée, limpide et coiffée d’un col crème. Des arômes racés de résine, de caramel. Belle amertûme multidimentionnelle. Texture collante, belle fin amère et arômatique.

On tap at L’Autre Oeil (Gatineau, Qc). Nice amber body with low carbonation and an average, lasting off-whit fiamy/creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with flowery and oaky hints. Strong, sharp hoppy taste that carries woody, grainy, and brown sugar notes. Ends with a long, robust bitter finish. Very well done.

Quevillon (2012) - Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 25, 2011
Drank on tap (20 oz) at Vices et Versa (Montreal), on June 24, 2011. Coppery orange, medium head. Peaches hop aroma, hints of rye. Slightly malty taste of rye, citrus hops, good bitterness. This is a bitter rye beer and that’s ok!
