3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Outstanding aroma of citrus and boat loads of grapefruit I love it. The flavor though is crazy sweet, itís like an orange/lemon lillopop. Big sweet malt swetness and it really drowns the hops. The aroma is fantastic but it falls apart after that.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle pours a totally transparent, orange amber with some cloudy white head. This aroma has much more straight forward citrus than the Simcoe version, pine, light sweetness. Flavor is more bitter than the Simcoe version, sweet too, good malt backbone, caramel, oranges, lemons. Medium bodied, bitter finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear orange with a decent off-white head that has little retention but leaves sticky lace. Aroma is musty, cedar, dry Amarillo hops, some orange liqour. Taste is bitter orange peel, orange juice, citrus perfume, some syrupy sweetness coming through.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bright golden color, small white head, medium lacing. Aroma of pine cones and cedar. Taste is more subtle than the Simcoe, but just as clean and bright. Tasty.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Lighter nose than the simcoe, some light golden citrus fruits. Taste is moderately sweet, lightly bitter, lots of cotton candy and honey and caramel, there is some citrus in there, but it just drowns in the sugars.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Dark amber with a thick sticky head and lacing. Moderate hop nose. Big delicious hop flavour you can eat with a spoon. Thick malt but seems more restrained than the Bravo and Simcoe versions. Alcohol varnish bite in the finish.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: APR 3, 2010 Rare bottle. Copper pour with nice thick white head. relatively mild aroma of grassy hops and spruce. Taste is sweet at first with a very bitter finale (pineapple hops). A lot of alcohol present here. Simcoe was better.
