3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle bought at Les Marchants de la Bière in Sainte-Thérèse (Quebec) on June 24, 2014. Clear copper, small head. Fields berry aroma hop, a little sweet. Earthy hop flavor, slightly fruity, aftertaste of bitter herbs. She is ok, but not my kind of hop!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy amber colour with a small bubbly beige head that does not stay long, but a few bubbles remains on brew, with minimal lacing. Aromas of caramel and toffee with some grassy bitterness in the background. Fruity malt taste with the hops showing in the finish. Kind of earthy. Decent bitterness from the hops and alcohol is well-hidden. Not good looking, but goes down nicely. Smell gets better with time.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bouteille de 500ml brassée en juin 2014. Une belle robe cuivrée avec une mousse imposante. Un nez floral simple. Une bouche aux saveurs prononcées, sucrée et amère en même temps. Des goûts poussiéreux, pas pour moi.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle. Clear light copper with a generous off white head. Not what I was expecting - malt forward with toffee and some caramel, an earthy and slightly aromatic hop but makes me think of an esb more then a dipa, light grass, butter, some juniper, moderate carbonation and mild body, somewhat bitter but balanced, lots of malt throughout this one. Interesting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a fairly clear amber with a small off white head that lasts and leaves moderate amounts of lace on the glass. Aroma is a mix of noble like hop qualities, spicy hops and mildly fruity citrus. Flavour is spicy, earthy, mild citrus, noble like qualities medium lingering bitterness, mild malty sweetness underneath and a bit of a medicinal hop quality. Not a bad beer but not my favourite hop variety.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to cfrancis for this one. Pours a clear golden amber with a frothy white head. Aroma is earthy, grassy, medical, some citrus and light tropical fruits... Medicinal character makes it weird. Taste is caramel, medicinal, herbal and light citrus and tropical fruits on the finish. Nicely balanced double but overall the medicinal and herbal character is making this unpleasant however for a double ipa this series has a great base style.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, thanks Colin! Fresj, spicy hop aroma, some tropical fruit as well. Clear orange pour, foamy white head. Lots of juicy fruity citrus up front in taste with a good deal of bright sweet malt as well. Clean. Bitterness is quite reserved for the style. Alcohol hidden well. This is very drinkable. This seems like a neat hop. And a very solid beer.
