Pours black with a tall brown head. Aroma is very roasty with notes of chocolate. Flavour is interesting, very roasty with a touch of alcohol. A little sweet but very bitter in the finish. There is a late palate flavour I can’t place. I was expecting a much sweeter beer.

Pours black with a beige head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is sweet chocolate with some roasted malts. Quite sweet with some nice roasted malt in the background. A delicious beer just not quite exceptional.

A great and truly unique beer. Pours jet black with a quickly dissipating frothy beige head, yielding some nice lacing. Aroma is almost a blend between malt and chocolate milk; there is a bacterial acidity in the background likely arising from the lactose that is oddly appealing. Taste is rich and full of chocolate, coffee, and malty notes. Finishes with a peculiar yet pleasant bitterness. A soft carbonation lends extra depth to the smooth and velvety body. An absolute pleasure, highly recommended.

Bottle, thanks to Colin. Lovely black our, big foamy brown head. Aroma is sweet and chocolaty. Taste is silky chocolate mixed with a sweet acidic edge. A classic milk stout with the alcohol not really noticeable A solid effort with a crazy cow on the label as well - what is not to like? Thanks for the nice find Colin!

Bottle courtesy of blutt59. Dark dark brown color. Easy milk stout aroma. Taste is deeply rich but has nice flavors. Chocolate and well done. Finishes easy with a hint of agitation.

My first Imperial Milk Stout. I’m not a huge coffee guy but I enjoyed this beer. Aroma is malt, coffee and caramel and chocolate. Taste is deep with malt and coffee and chocolate overtones. Alcohol bite and an aftertaste of creme brule. This is a very nice beer, I don’t know if I’d have it again but I can understand how people would love this. Very complex and lots of great flavours coming through.

courtesy of Cheeseman who strikes again with another amazing Quebec beer. Pours dark brown, light mahogany head. Aroma of lactose, malty, grainy, plenty of good caramel. Flavor, definitely unique for an Imp Milk stout, on par with ST Creme Brulee. Lots of good sugar lactose, plenty of sweetness, caramel malts, overall palate has hints of red berries, almost strawberry followed by lactose. ABV is well hidden. Tasty!
