3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle I brought back from Montreal and took to Peter’s tasting. Pours a deep black with a thick dense tan head. Cardboard, smoke, roasted malt. Lightly sweet, smooth, nice roast coffee flavors. Finishes up with a nice slow roast and coffee flavor.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500 mL bottle. Pours ruby-black, almost opaque, with a tiny but sticky head. Chocolate milk in the nose, with some alcohol, roast and sour cherries. Some gritty roast in the flavour is joined by milk chocolate and a little burnt caramel. More sour cherries in the flavour, but it’s like sour cherry hard candies. The flavour is only spoiled by a little cardboard early on. Alcohol and roast bitterness at the end. Pretty good.

3.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JAN 20, 2012 A very smooth drinking stout, smooth on the down go with a bit of Cola taste apparent, I was amazed at how smooth this stout tasted I could detect a trace of roasted barley in the mix but very very subtle. Nice Finish on the crazy cow.
