Pour is very dark brown with a nice beige head and little lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, light cocoa, very simple. Taste is roasty, some milk chocolate, light coffee, a bit of nuttyness, sweet. Medium body and soft carbonation. Good brew.

Dark brown, almost black pour with small beige head. Aroma of malts, caramel, chocolate, coffee, cream and fruits. Taste of creamy milk chocolate, caramel, coffee, vanilla and faint hops on the finish. Full bodied and creamy mouthfeel, delicious beer, perfectly balanced.

Countbeer (4302) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - SEP 6, 2013
Bottle: Served in a taster: Thanks Pushkinwow: Dark brown pour. Medium sized beige mocha colored foamy head on top of a deep dark brown to black colored beer. Aromas of soya, raisin, cream, some coffee, some roast, dried prunes, some strawberries, marzepin and some autumnal herbs. Flavours of coffee, cream, raisin, little vinous, cherries, roast malts, malty bitters, light chocolate tone, some liquorice, light marzepin, leaves and bitter. Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, leaves and autumnal herbs, roast, liquorice, cream and light bitters. Low carbo, soft creamy close to silky mouthfeel, full body and a full creamy texture. Delicious, something else, but intense!

DocJitsu (826) - Florida, USA - SEP 4, 2013
Pours an opaque, very dark brown, with just a sliver of ruby glint around the very bottom edge of the glass. A large light mocha head retains well. Coffee, cola, metallic, and cherry on the nose. Mouthfeel is not too thin, not too thick. A bit creamy. A bit of a carbonation burn, just for balance. Nearly perfect for this style. Chocolate at the beginning. A bit of plastic in the middle. Powerful coffee emerges at and lingers after the finish.

On tap. Pours black with a thin light tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, light roast, bitter chocolate, lactose. Flavor of dark fruits, raisin, chocolate, lactose. Aftertaste is a bit off- bad milk and sweetness. Not an imperial stout Iím too fond of, although it isnít completely awful. 7/4/5/3/9 (2.8/5)

Itís like drinking chocolate milk thatís somehow more dark chocolate than milk chocolate. A tad more bitterness would make this amazing.

500ml bottle from Coop. 9%. Beautiful dark brown pour with a fairly foamy tan head with mild lacing. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, roasted malt. Taste is oaty and thick, almost sludgy on the mouth feel, but layered with hints of vanilla and chocolate. Medium alcohol warmth. Superb.

Enjoyed from bottle at Thirsty & Miserable in Toronto, ON. Appearance is pitch black moderate consistency, thin tan head. Aroma of rich chocolate, lactose, vanilla, smells sweet and decadent. Taste is sweet, rich, decadent, and great. Lightly abrasive with rich chocolate notes. Awesome stuff. Enjoyed then had some lemon meringue pie from some French strangers.

Dark brown pour with a tan head. The aroma is full of chocolate and roasted malt with some lactose notes thrown in. The flavor is similar with the sweet chocolate, lactose and roasted malt. Very sweet overall. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
