2014/11/09 - Pours an opaque dark brown/black colour with a two finger, frothy, tan head that reduces to a lingering surface froth. Aroma is milk chocolate, caramel malts and vanilla. Taste is milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee and caramel malts. Starts sweets and ends abruptly with a finish that is a lot less bitter than expected. Mouthfeel is medium to thick with creamy carbonation and a sharp finish. A solid milk stout, although it is sweeter than I prefer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft - Milk chocolate and roast malts. Jet black with a creamy brown head. Milk chocolate with a bit of burnt malt and a sweet finish. Really nice milk stout.

Tasted at the Festival Bieres et Saveurs de Chambly. A really pitch black color, light smell and a strong taste that is not too much. This beer is really good but will not surprise any connoisseur.

Written rating in May 09 which I forgot to upload. Pour is pure opaque black with slight brown and amber highlights. Moderately sized but thick tan head. Aroma is sweet roasted coffee and chocolate with hints of nuts and caramel. This beer tastes like a mix of coffee and chocolate milk...but a slightly alcoholic version. Pretty delicious beer.

Originally rated May 2005. This milk stout pours a dark brown with red highlights. The aroma is awesome with full chocolat and hints of caramel. The taste is mostly coffee, especially in the finish and aftertaste. There is slight molasse and some bitterness. Very smooth mouthfeel and quite creamy. I would say that the aroma is this brews best thing, but overall, a real pleasant creamy stout.

Thanks for sharing moejuck. Pours a deep black, with tan dissipating head that leaves a thick ring around the inner edge of the glass. Aroma of malted chocolate, alcohol and scalded milk. Tastes strongly of rich roasted chocolate malts and perhaps a touch of caramel. Stronger hop finish than I expected.
