J’adore l’odeur qui se dégage de la mousse de cette bière filtrée mais riche en saveur.

Very well balanced beer with the unique taste of the rye well integrated into the malt flavour. Nice subtle hopping that blends well with the rye. The rye really gives it a unique taste without being strange tasting. If anything it is a little bit too pleasant and easy drinkable but not sure that is really a flaw.

A 500 ml bottle from Viti @ The Met. Pours a promising amber color with a generous beige head. Slightly fruity and bitter on the nose. The rye is up front with some hop backing. Very refreshing. A nice rye ale.

500 ml bottle from Broue Ha Ha, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Hazy deep copper with a nice orange-tan head. Aroma: Fairly strong floral, pine, green grassy hops, kinda peppery, some sulphur (unfortunate), caramel and dark bread crust malt backbone, tropical fruits, pretty nice. Palate: Medium body, somewhat sparse effervescence. Flav.: A touch vegetal, less assertive floral/pine/resin/grassy hops, still a bit peppery, decent dry caramel and dark bread crust support, a little dark dried fruitiness, a bit of pineapple and tropical fruits, pretty good; dry with pretty good bitterness and a rye bread crust and resinous hop finish.

That cow might not be crazy after all...

(500ml bottle, courtesy of blutt59) Pours a clear golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of rye, grass, caramel, cereal, and citrus. Flavor of grass, minerals, caramel, toasted grain, and earth.

Clear amber-gold pour with two fingers of off-white foam that quickly recedes into a thin ring leaving only minimal lacing. Nose of spicy malted rye, citrus hops, some sweet dried fruit and a decent helping of herbal, grassy notes. Taste follows; very well balanced. I love the complexity that the rye brings to an IPA so this is probably my favourite style of beer. Along side some resinous and citrus hops comes notes of seasonal spices: ginger and allspice, as well as dried cherries and some caramel sweetness. Again, balance is excellent! On the nose bitterness. Medium carbonation with a somewhat thicker mouthfeel and lingering pithy bitter finish. One of my top 5 right now for sure! Well done!

Bottle (500 ml) bottled in December 2012, so about 2 month old. Clear copper with a medium fully lasting creamy beige head and intense lacing. Aroma of caramel, rye, pine and hops. Taste is of malt, caramel, rye, pine, hops and slight fruitiness. Low to moderate bitterness. Body isn’t too heavy, which is good. Interesting beer. Dangerously drinkable. Refreshing. Could probably have scored .1 or .2 more if I’ve drank it fresher.
