Pours a coppery brass colour with a fair amount of carbonation and a very thick frothy white head. Fairly cloudy, although it looks semi-filtered. On the nose some citrus fruit, but with a definite presence of rye and bready yeast. Tastes of caramel, brown sugar, and some citrus grapefruit. Overall, not as hoppy as I was expecting, but a nice glass of beer.

Bottle: Served in a taster: Medium sized creamy foamy head on top of a hazy warm orange colored beer. Aromas of butter, hop, some red fruit, nettle, manure, light malty and a hint of meat. Flavours of hops, malts, some nettle, light citrus, pine, bitter, herbs, light bread tone, some yeast and hop fruits... Aftertaste is a mix of hops, herbs, bitters, malts and some fruits. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, good medium bodied and a creamy texture. Tasty beer.

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy copper colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fully lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Citrusy and piney hop aroma, notes of grapefruit and tangerine, more perfumed than earthy hints of rye in the background. Taste is citrusy and bitter hoppy, minimally tart, hints of blood orange, redcurrant, cautious dry touch of rye. Very nice.

Hazy copper, small beige head. Light pine resins, spice and cereal grains. Light to medium bitterness, light spicy finish with solid slightly sweet malts. The hops are quite muted and faint, a little resins, mostly earthy spices.

Pours hazy orange-tinged amber into a Sam glass. Off-white soapy head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Earthy spice aromas. Medium bodied with sweet toffee and spicy rye upfront turning to mild resin before the lasting earthy pepper finish.
