Bottle from brewery. Cloudy red with lacing. Caramelly aroma with spice, chocolate, and some hops. Taste is nice and smoky/toasty, grainy, spicey, with some fruity hops. Somewhat flat. Nice rye beer!

Bottle, bought @ Beer City, Belgium. Pours clear amber with a large, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has clear rye, citrus, grapefruit, peach. Medium carbonation, dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, lots of rye, citrus, grapefruit. Long, lingering bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Thanks to laiti express!
Pours a beautiful hazy copper orange colour with a foamy, lacy, white head. Aroma of rye bread, red berries, grass and straw. Flavour of strong rye bread, malts, floral bitterness, grapefruit, grass and subtle caramel sweetness. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Lingering bitter, musty and bready finish. Just as I thought, rye makes this beer heavy and not as refreshing as it should. Still I seem to like this because of the balance.

Thanks Kyle for the sample. Pours an amber colour with a bunch of tan head that dissipates moderately quickly. Smell is slightly fruity, like a kiwi or pineapple, but also has a nice spiciness to it, not super complex however. Palate is on the lighter side of medium bodied with slightly lacking carbonation. Taste is slightly spicy and fruity at first but gets a decent bitter kick before leaving a bit of sweetness and a good bit of bitterness in a short-lasting aftertaste. Good but not great.

Decent but not a stand-out beer and really not up to the standard set by some of their beers. Rye adds a nice grainy bitter bite to malt. Pours amber without much head or lacing. Some hops. Average carbonation. Bottle from Delires du Terroir.
