Thanks Kyle for the sample. Pours an amber colour with a bunch of tan head that dissipates moderately quickly. Smell is slightly fruity, like a kiwi or pineapple, but also has a nice spiciness to it, not super complex however. Palate is on the lighter side of medium bodied with slightly lacking carbonation. Taste is slightly spicy and fruity at first but gets a decent bitter kick before leaving a bit of sweetness and a good bit of bitterness in a short-lasting aftertaste. Good but not great.

Decent but not a stand-out beer and really not up to the standard set by some of their beers. Rye adds a nice grainy bitter bite to malt. Pours amber without much head or lacing. Some hops. Average carbonation. Bottle from Delires du Terroir.

Sweet aroma, malty, pine, some rye. Tastes better than it smells, piney hops, lemon, rye, spices, caramel. Getting more fruit as this warms. Medium body.

500ml bottle. Huge sponge toffee head, hazy amber, so much haze you can see little wispy clouds through it. Mostly IPA hop aroma, with hints of rye spiciness. Taste starts with rye pepperiness and finishes with piney hops. Solid body. Overall, a very solid offering.

Bottle. Hazy orange with a generous orange-tinted head. Spicy citrus hoppy nose, zippy, lively. Very fresh hoppy profile (not sure the age of this bottle, but it sure is fresh), fresh pineapple, grapefruit, light pine, lightly spicy. Rye malt or not, this is a great IPA, and the rye certainly adds a nice spicy kick.

Very well balanced beer with the unique taste of the rye well integrated into the malt flavour. Nice subtle hopping that blends well with the rye. The rye really gives it a unique taste without being strange tasting. If anything it is a little bit too pleasant and easy drinkable but not sure that is really a flaw.

A 500 ml bottle from Viti @ The Met. Pours a promising amber color with a generous beige head. Slightly fruity and bitter on the nose. The rye is up front with some hop backing. Very refreshing. A nice rye ale.
