COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale malts and imported Saaz hops combine to create this light bodied lager. Fermentation at a lower temperature and cold conditioning result in a crisp and inviting beer with a clean finish. Taste the treasure!

[901-20071204] Tap @ Charlie & Jake’s (Melbourne, FL). Aroma has a bit of metallic yeast. Clear, gold orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Flavour has noticeably generic hops and yeast and malt but more of a zippy wheat. Medium body. Average.

Gold pour with watery white head and lace. Clean caramel malt aroma with a hint of paper. Sweet caramel malt and light perfumy hops and a bito dry papery finish. Light/medium bodied and fizzy.

On draft at Charlie and Jake’s. Pours clear gold with a white head. Nose is malt, sweetness, some yeast, and some background hops. Flavor is lots of sweetness and definite lager yeast presence. Clean, sweet, and lager in the mouth. Medium-bodied and curious for a pale lager, but very good for one of my least-loved styles.

A golden ale with a thin white head. Again, light malt aroma. In mouth, is this a pils...yes, chalky, saaz hops, oh hum and boring. On tap at brewpub, Jan. 6 2011.

Tap. clear golden color. Aroma of a pale lager. Straw and hay. Smells refreshing. Pale malts, with saaz, lager yeast doughiness. Flavor is soapy. Nice malt sweetness. Sharp hop, Linger tingle of spiciness on the palate. Very well done pale lager.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub deep gold with tiny white head. Very light aroma bringing up only a sprits of maltiness. The taste begins with sweet malts and mild lightly roasted malts before a spot of graininess arrives as well as faint hops. It ends as it started with very sweet malts and then some slightly roasted malts.
