En ganska snäll Ipa med liten humlesmak men bra beska. Vackert bärnstensfärgad men saknar krona. En god öl som enligt mig saknar fruktaromer.

13-SEP-2013, bottle @Ulkloebben tasting, @Erik. Clear golden with low off-white head. Aroma is medicinal, malty and wine gum. Taste is malt, rubber, medicin, some hoppy stuff that is not fresh but herbal. Very sweet, low carbonation. Is this sick? Just too old? Or is it just crap?

Linnet (1103) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - AUG 24, 2013
Bottle from Systembolaget. Ar: caramel, bread, floral, grass, citrus, spruce, alcohol, dough, hops are there, but feel tired. Ap: hazy amber colour, small white head. T: medium sweetness, medium bitterness (light for the style) lightly sour, salty, lots of salt actually, hops are there, but they really don’t pack a fruity punch. P: medium body, sticky, soft carbonation, warming and bitter finish. T: mediocre.

330 ml bottle. Golden orange with white head. Aroma sweet and malty, flowers, lots of tropical fruit and pineapple. Taste is sweet, caramel, sour yeast, pineapple and fruit that finishes with a creeping bitterness.

The very point of ipa is checking out the possibilities of hopping a pale ale. This is all over the place but where it should be, which is hoppiness. You have too much maltiness and a lot of slightly infected yeast, but no real hop flavor. The hops in an ipa is as important as the riff in a rocknroll song. This one doesn’ t even have the amps turned up properly. Men lycka till med nästa ipa!

Botle from Systembolaget. Best before August 1, 2013. Hazy amber with almost no head (white). Sharp aroma of sour socks. Infected.

33cl bottle from a trade with Cunningham. Pours slightly hazy dark golden to amber with an off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and malt. Moderate sweet and fruity with a lightly dry and pleasantly bitter finish. Medium body with a fairly soft carbonation. Nice and refreshing!

Really good smell of this beer. The taste is not great but still good. The aftertaste was decent.
