3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 stjamesgate (8) - IRELAND - MAR 23, 2012 does not count
Slightly cloudy sunshine yellow with stiff white felt than leaves shaving cream sheets.
Waxy yeast and lemon oil nose.
Banana sherbet malts with honey sweetness, lean citrus hops and a touch of mint.
Banoffi finish and herbal tea linger. Crisp, soft, light-medium, with some chew.
The yeast left in this makes it reminiscent of a rounder, creamier Belgian blonde.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 JorgeLee (325) - Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2011
Draft in Chania. Cloudy golden colour - looks more like a wheat beer than a lager. With being unfiltered has nice fresh complex mouth feel and decent hoppy finish. Interesting and well worth a try in Crete!
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Hermod (1687) - Vantaa, FINLAND - SEP 26, 2011
33cl bottle bought in Chania in some wineshop. No label on the bottle. Poured slightly hazy, golden with a creamy, thin head. Aroma of honey and yeast, bready notes as well. Flavor was somewhat sour, yeasty and with a fruity finish. Medium bodied, low bitterness. Quite interesting, unfortunately I did not manage to try this from tap.

A very interesting lager from Crete.
Its color reminds me of a weisse beer and its taste is much more than a normal lager. For sure I will try it again...
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Sigmund (3711) - Hafrsfjord, NORWAY - AUG 12, 2011
330 ml unlabelled bottle, kindly shared by gunnar. Golden colour, moderate to low white head. Strong sweetish aroma, notes of flowers and artificial banana candy. The flavour is not quite as sweet as the aroma made me fear, but has still notes of banana candy. Minimal hops. Weird, but not undrinkable.
