Commercial Description: This rarely produced fruit wine captured the essence of just picked ripe apricots. Serve Chilled as an aperitif or dessert wine.
Bottle. Pours a lightly hazy orangish color, much like overripe apricot meat. Aroma is wonderful, assertive dried apricot and candied apricot. Sweet yet tart to the nose. Medium bodied, a little drying. Flavor is modestly tart, a treat from some meads that can be a bit sweet or overly cloying with honey. It almost gives you that hop bite like an IPA/APA that makes you want to keep sucking it down. Tasty.
