Sample at the brewery. Pours a hazy medium amber with a moderate off-white head. Mild aroma of caramel and malt. The flavor is caramel and malt. Mild-moderate bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. Nice solid ale.

Small growler fill from the fine folks at Chatham. Pours a hazy brown with a thin white head. Empty mostly with a light malt and a very small touch of hops. Thin and malty. Decent. Malty bitterness on the end, tastes a bit old, but drinkable.

Woo hoo, 1st rater! Growler from Spotty Dog. Pours a very murky, deep dark amber color, almost dark red cherry colored. Cannot see through it. Thats basically where my appeal ended with this beer. It was not bad, no off flavors, no faults. My issue is it was just bland and blasé. The OG seemed to be a bit high and masked the hops and yet the malts come off watery as well. I could see this beer getting better as the brewers keep messing around with it.
