A reddish copper amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a sweet nutty malt with light maple notes. In mouth, a sweetish cloying malt, with grassy notes. On tap at City Beer Hall, April 28, 2012.

Growler from the brewery. Clear brown with a crimson tint and a yellowish head. Nose is strawberry and candi; a bit musty with just a hint of maple. Creamy, almost full, body with a buzz. Taste is maple syrup, bubblegum and pumpkin pie spice. Clean, slightly bitter, grassy finish.

Small growler fill from the fine folks at Chatham. Pours a mostly clear amber brown with a medium sized white head. Light hop presence, and a good amount of maple. Very maple flavored, jarring at first. Light cheese to it. Sweet, almost cloying. Sweet toffee almonds on the finish.
