COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly Chatoe Rogue Good Chit Pilsner.
Good Chit Pilsner is made with Rogue Farm barley that we Floor-Malted in small batches. Floor Malting is an old fashioned, 8 day process that includes steeping, germination, raking, roasting, bagging and hands-on love 24 hours a day. "Chit" refers to the start of the rootlets that emerge from the embryo of the kernel once steeping is complete and germination begins.

Bubbly orange, coriander, bread, yeast and lemon aromas on the nose. Appearance is a light, see-through yellow color with a quick vanishing foam top. Taste brings flavors of bread, yeast, dough, wheat, barley, hay and sweet caramel all topped off with a subtle hop presence on the finish. Overall, this is a decent pilsner with some decently balanced flavors. Light bodied with a pleasant, crisp taste. I’d give it a C rating.

Straw colored pour with a tall white head. Lemon, hints of tropical fruit, grain, and grass. Hints of biscuit, a touch of butter, and some yeast. Light bitterness on the palate. Some biscuit malt sweetness, lemon zest, and grass. Yeast, a light floral note, and kind of a harsh, astringent finish.

Yellow, good carb not overly carbed.Small froth, spotty lace. Aroma is some breadyness with a mainly tart lemony citrus, next to nothing at times or just a mild tart aroma. Taste is fairly citrusy with tart lemon,light-light medium mouthfeel, mild breadiness.Maybe more citrusy tart/sour than many pilsners. Pretty good not too great though.

I do appreciate the work put into this brew. With that said ...I feel its one of rogues weakest offerings. Its a decent beer but it just fails to impress.

Tap from rusty bucket gahanna. Pour is amber and similar to Oberon. Nose is mild acidic and grain. Some medium body for a pilsner. Smooth and goes great sitting on the patio on a warm day. Less fruity than Oberon but still a pretty good summer beer. Would def get again. ---Rated via my mouth

Light-medium body. Refreshing. Drank while watching TV outside on a hot, spring day. Has a slight acidic bite. Grainy aroma and what reminds me of caramelized oranges. Crisp character, fairly dry. High drinkability and enough bitterness to balance. Slight earthy hop character on the front edge of the tongue. Very nice.

Tap at Mikkeller and Friends. Poured a clear light straw colour with a round glass hugging white head. The aroma is pils malt. The flavour is medium bitter and malty, but rather smooth on the palate and very drinkable.

Draft at Mikkeller and Friends. Pours slightly hazy golden with an off white head. Aroma of grain and grassy hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Good for the style.

Bottle pours hazy bright yellow with a medium frothy white head. Good bits of carbonation shooting up the glass. Aroma is full of clean pilsner malts, grassy, with spicy and skunky hops. Flavor is crisp and clean pale malts, crackers, bits of toast. The hops are a let down in the finish. No bite or spicy finish. Its very malt forward.
