Bottle from the LCBO. Blood orange body that pours clear at first, but develops some cloudiness later in the bomber. Small orange-beige head that doesn’t stick around for long. Fruity & malty aroma, with notes of orange and peach, and a toasted grain note in the background. Flavour is a simple and nicely balanced APA - not outstanding, not bad, just a nice drinkin’ beer.

Belle couleur brune avec petite mousse blanc-crême; arômes fruités; goût malté et houblonné avec superbe finale amère; une très bonne bière

650ml bottle, 6 % abv, served at a fine drinking temperature at Café Sånn, thanks to Finn for sharing. Spotty lacing from a stable off-white head. Near clear, dark copper body colour. Aromas of brown malts and dried fruits. Rather comprehensive taste profile including almond, caramel, dried fruits and mild dark spices. Bittersweet citrus shells to the ending. Well bodied. Tasty stuff (Tromsø 23.08.2014).

Bottle at Øltorget, june 7th 2014. Amber body with a thick offwhite head. Grainy aroma with apricot, grass, rye, earth. Taste is sweet and malty for an apa, with lots of toffee, honey, grassy and piney hops, lasting into the finish with a sweet berry jam aftertaste. A good beer, though you don’t get what you expect from the style, if it wasn’t for the "low" abv I’d have guessed a barley wine instead.

Flaske 660ml på Cafe Sånn. Delt med Rune og Kjell 23 Aug 14. Dyp amber. Høyt luftig skum med litt farge. Forsiktig karamellaroma med antydning til frukt. Smaken er søt frukt. Godt moden fersken. Blir litt tørr etter hvert.

Aroma: light grain malts, medium flowers, some citrus fruits. Appearance: cloudy dark amber/brown, small frothy light brown head. Taste: moderate sweet. Palate: medium body, oily texture, flat carbonation, bitter average-long finish. Overall: very nice APA, great palate, tastes almost like an IPA. Pint at the GBBF 2014, Kensington.

(Rogue Farms Oregasmic Ale) Bottle 650 ml at home, poured into a tulip glass, ABV 6% according to the importer’s sticker. Very dark orange colour on the body, could be called amber. Small tan head, a bit thin, with good retention though, leaving medium lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, malts, faded hops, orange peel. Taste of mandarins, orange peels, caramel, light floral notes, very bitter finish and aftertaste, with long duration. Medium body, carbonation on the high side, very dry palate. A very good beer

TET (1623) - FINLAND - AUG 16, 2014
A coppery beer with a big and blond head. The nose has caramell, citrusfruits, peaches and some wood to noticing to aging. Taste has less caramell than aroma, pine, some fruits, wood, at least medium bitterness that is there also in the long aftertaste. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Not too good as I expected, strong caramell but too less of fruits, also quite old bottle.
