Tap at rusty bucket. Great name. Orange amber color with lingering white froth head. Malty nose but malt taste doesn't creep up in the taste until later. Hop bite up front and bitterness fades into malt. Some citrus hints but not too many. A bit unbalanced but still a great beer. ---Rated via my mouth

From a 650ml bottle on 24/3/2013 (shared by Butz with thanks). Label says ’Chatoe Rogue First Growth OREgasmic Ale’. Pours a cloudy dark orange with a big foamy head. Has a strong and pleasant aroma of honey and fruit. The flavour features lots of sweet citrus and stone fruit, caramel malt, and a huge, quite spicy, lingering hop bitterness. Can’t believe it’s only listed at 40 IBUs. A really lovely hop driven beer.

Draft at Surf Taco. Pours a good looking cloudy orange/amber with a small to average frothy off off white head that leaves some lace and a nice lasting pool of froth. Aroma of wet bread, caramel, toffee, older citrus pulp. Body is great, very full with lively carbonation and a dry bitter finish that lingers. Flavor is better then the aroma with notes of grapefruit, citrus rind, dry grains, cereal, tea, old dry molassess. Good stuff.

Pours a cloudy orange amber with a light tan head. Aroma is full malty and nutty with a touch of old leather. Taste is sweet, full and syrupy. With citrus overtones and a peppery bite underlying the sweetness. Mouthfeel is full and creamy. A big bottle on special occasions. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

WOB Coconut Creek, FL. Home run. Beautiful aroma, fruity, spicy, nice malt flavor, well, but not overly, hopped. Best beer of the night. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ the bent elbow - pours an orange hazed gold with a frothy white 2 finger cap. Moderate carbonation. Aroma is fruity with both citrus and apricot, sturdy malt aroma anf some light mustiness. Medium bodied put light on the palate. Flavor is malty fruity, well balanced between bitter and sturdy nmalting,, clean and dry in the finish with a decnt hop bite at the end. A very easy drinking west coast pale.

Expected a LOT more from this. Very nice amber color with a thick light tan head. Taste does not live up though. Very balanced but far too bland, feels almost watered down. All the right notes are there, but like a bright colored ball seen through a waterstamp lens. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
