Bottle from Beer Revolution. Pours murky copper with a modest beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a hearty caramel malt flavor with a bitter citrus finish.

22oz bomber poured into a shaker. Pours a dark burnt orange with about 2 fingers of thick white head. A nice herbal citrus aroma with a good deal of caramel. Taste is light bitter. Herbal citrus hops with a little caramel. Medium bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, not bad. I would be happy to drink this again.

Benjii (2396) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 21, 2012
On keg at The York Tap. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber colour with a decent beige head. Aroma is a little sweet again with a pronounced cantaloupe quality upfront. Some pine and passion fruit also. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a chewy mouth-feel. Nicely bitter and very drinkable.

Citrus and caramel malts in aroma. The flavor is grapefruit, citrus, caramel malts and dry piney hops in the finish.

Oakes (10184) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 6, 2012
Murky amber with a thin head. Earthy aroma with caramel. Smells past its prime, but with no date on the bottle who knows. Toasted character with earthy hops and a dry finish.

650 ml. bottle. Pours a thick lasting white head, with some lacing, over a clear amber (SRM 13) body.....nose is light toffee/caramel, hints of floral honey....taste is toffee/caramel, light floral, leading to a lingering hop bitterness....mouth feel medium, slightly sticky, carbonation adds a pleasant spritz. This is a typical APA. It is nicely balanced and hits all the right spots. BJCP 7/3/14/4/7

Bottle poured into a tulip glass. Pours a caramel brown color with a large tan head. Nose is great! Citrus, sweet, caramel, bread, floral aromas. Taste is what caught me by surprise, a bitter finish I wasn’t expecting. Overall though a well done beer.

FatPhil (6207) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 15, 2012
Bottle (CWAF2012)
Smells mostly of hops, peach everywhere, but thick and muddy and messy. Fleshy fruity taste is a bit silly to be honest, it’s not beery enough. A bit sweet and simple. Cloudy.

Beershine (4718) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - MAR 14, 2012
Bottle. Really nice red color and pleasant haze. Stable little cap. Aroma is certainly new, clean, thin, and cardboardy with a hint of cherry. The palate is thin but offers nice toasty malts. The malt flavor is pleasantly toasty, with just the right level of caramelization. I think some geeks might find it boring, but the malt character is a fairly accessible one. The brew is rescued by some late hops, too, adding a distinct balance that makes it a nice, mellow session beer. And a nice concept. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
