Pours a very hazy copper brown color with a small white head. Aroma is earthy hops. The taste is metallic and bitter like a copper penny. My bottle had an excessive amount of yeast in it as well. Earthy, hoppy, copper penny. Gross.

Killer bitterness. Any beer will taste like Evian afterwards. Nevertheless pleasant, infinite lingering. Good beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a really nice beer with a fresh hoppy flavour that doesn’t hide behind the strong malty base. It has a lingering bitterness that makes it perfect for partnering with a hot curry or anything else with a bit of heat.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Burnt amber and garnet with a slight haze under a thick clumpy khaki head which clings to the sides of the glass.
Husked barley, oats, and rye. Green vegetation in the back – fields of damp grass and flora. Rye toast and whole grain crackers. Apple musk. Bitter citrus peel.
Parching, bitter, citrus rind, grain husks, and a touch of pine. Dry leaves and dry toast. Lemon and grapefruit rind scours the edges of my tongue. Dried vegetal hop pellets. Dried apple skins. Mint and floral esters along the sides with a lavender and juniper finish.
An intriguing American Pale Ale from the Rogue Farms which is quite sessionable at only 6.5%ABV. Well, sessionable for the Beer Ambassadors at least. Dry, citric, rustic, and of the field, we quite liked this homegrown brew and would gladly drink it again.

Malt forward - so to me it’s more an IPA - not as hoppy as I expected so this isn’t to my liking.

pours cloudy dark golden with a frothy off-white head, some retention and lacing. very spicy and citrusy, peppery, fruity and spicy yeastiness, toasted grains, some caramel and few resiny notes. moderate carbonation, light body - tad watery for abv, ncie citrusy-spicy balanced finish. just not my type so much but not a DP either.
