22 oz. bottle from Sam’s Quik Stop Ar: Peppery nose with some juniper notes. Ap: Pours a deep hazy orange-amber with a frothy 1" manila head. Very good head retention, nice lace. T: Nice malty body balances the hop flavors. Sweetness is moderate-high and carries through to the finish. Finish is also hoppy and bitter with some pine notes. P: Medium body with a bit of stickiness. Carbonation is pretty moderate. O: Good beer.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a nice earthy malt with some peach and hops. Flavor is way more malty then hoppy. Not that that is a bad thing. Earthy malts up front followed by a very small oily hop. A decent easy drinking pale ale.

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2012 Draft, Ørsted Ølbar: Unclear amber with white head. Malty and quite complex aroma with notes of caramel, green hops and exotic fruits. Some nice spicey elements as well - I detect notes of cinnamon and licorice. Taste is medium sweet and herbal hoppy bitter with a long dry heavy bitter finish. I like this a lot.

tmoreau (2445) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JUL 17, 2011
Poured from a bomber to a sampler glass at a local tasting benefit at 20West Liquors in Lombard, IL.. Showed a brownish amber color, with abundant, creamy, off white/light tan head foam, and some lasting, waves of lacing. The nose was a hint of house yeast, caramel sweetness, with a combo of citrus and fruit, and a little resin mixed in. Malt content was okay in both the aroma and flavor, hop bitterness was on the low side, the mouthfeel had a light creaminess to it, but the body seemed a little thin to me.
