Bottle. Pours a cloudy copper with small frothy off white head. The aroma is a brady malt and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a strong fruity hop and nice long lingering bitter finish. A good American pale ale from Rogue.

Bottle:   Cloudy amber, dull, little bit of caramel accents, moderate to large sand colored head, nice lacing.   Sure looks the part!   Pale hoppy nose, noticeable malts and straw/hay.   First thing I notice is that its got a real good malt base.   Hops are there, seem fairly mild.   Not a bright Pale Ale, but smooth, nice malt base (unlike many others of its kind).   Full bodied, smooth mouthfeel.   Wished it has a bit more floral/citrus zing, but still decent enough.

Clear orange with no head. Nose is sweet and soapy. Taste is very sharp wirh a chemical presence. Hops are there but this beer is too astringent.

Draught@Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen (aug 8th, 2011). Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized creamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet fruits, mild spicy notes as well as some slight maltyness. A bit sticky sweet alcohol in it. Flavour is being rather much the same with a more sharp hop bite to it. A bit strong in the alcohol compared to the other elements, but 1-2 % less alcohol and this would probably be more drinkable.

Pours a nice looking deep amber. Thick head. Hoppy, flowery aroma. Tastes fresh, and mildly hoppy. A dry malt type after taste

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, pine, grapefruit. Solid bitter, roasted malty and hoppy. Ends bitter, dry, grassy herbal finish. Different, but nice...a little to bitter for my taste.

Draught @ Craft Beer Co., London. Hazy dark orange / light red color, small off-white lacing. Smell lots of malts, hops and bitter. Tastes very bitter, lightly fruity, grapefruit, lightly hops. Medium carbo, medium body.

Whole Foods, P St, DC 22oz ($7): Pours a muddy amber color with an awesome looking off-white head. This looks like a really nice tap pour. Aroma is of floral hops, candied sugar, and malty malts. Soft mouthfeel. Bitter hops leave lingering aftertaste; very west coast. Slightly sweet, especially at the front, with a hint of butterscotch. Does not taste like what you expect an APA to taste like, but I will not say it doesn’t taste good.

A bubbly off-white head and a nice cloudy orange color. A light aroma of hops and grass. The flavor is spicy, with a hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste and a little bit of sweetness from the malt.
