3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Atlanta, Ga - Hop City Craft Beer and Wine - 22 oz bomber. Yeah - a new Rogue that is not a re-label! Pours a medium copper with a soft, silky white head that leaves a decent coat of lacing. Fresh, non-descript fruity aroma with tinges of citrus and nectarines. Nice crisp, subtle bitterness, with some nutty accents, a hint of spruce, light citrus and a tangy back end. Mouthfeel is thick and rich with a nice tangy bite. Would make a very decent session ale.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Leftovers from Beer Fest Asia 2010. Well, this pretty much drinks the way I initially thought homebrew would be like. Insipid and uninspiring. Thank god I was wrong about the homebrew.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pretty dark muddy golden color with a substantially large pile of foam on top. The aroma is dirty and slightly yeasty. This drinks with the earthy, organic character of a homebrew. Almost milky with a smooth body, the beer delivers a very simple front, slightly sweet and almost tart. (#3923, 6/20/2010)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
22. Pours a somewhat hazy burnished coppery medium amber with a dense and sudsy platinum blonde head that doesn’t really stick around for any length of time. Lots of webby lace coming down the sides of the glass. Weird peppery yeasty nose, lots of CO2 there, not super appealing, lots of yeast by products. Some peppery hop showing through as well, not too far off the mark, just too much weird Rogue yeast happening. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Lots of toast and piney resin on the mid palate. A little sharp and almost twangy for an APA.
