Bomber. Pours opaque amber, thin off white head. Aroma is malt and white grapes (hops). Flavor is earthy, hoppy, chalky. Not a fan.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beardface (1497) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - DEC 25, 2010
Fresh Hop Festival. Amber pour with an inch of off-white head. Aroma not as sharply hoppy as I would expect out of a fresh hop, but a decent mixture of floral, citrus and caramel. Flavor much the same, this is a solid beer but it doesn’t pop with hop flavor like I had hoped. Would probably still drink it again though, as it is a decent IPA.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 mitchgt (65) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 24, 2010
Green’s bomber. Rusty pipe pour. Fluffy quickly dissipating head. Big grapefruit and orange hoppiness on nose. Less so in the mouth. Thinnish mouthfeel. Nice hop/malt balance. Dry finish.

The smell is definately of hops but the name implies it would be much thicker than it is. Pretty good head and lacing, its not completely clear, lots of bubbles from the bottom. The is a pretty good blend of hops and malt flavours and charecters in here, nothing is overshadowing anything else. Quite sweet thouhg, more so than there is bitterness which again you would think otherwise due to the label. There is a pretty good sweet and then bitter kick right at the end of this one but it fades out really quickly and theres just a bit of bitterness left around to remember it by. It’s good, but a bit too sweet for my tastes. It does deliver in the hops part of the label but not in an abundant hophead kind of way.

On draft at Taproom PB. Hazy, dark copper amber, smallish head, no lace to speak of. Aroma seems mild, but may be result of my somewhat stuffy nose. What there is has fruity malts, floral and citrus hops. Flavor is nice, more fruity malts, little caramel, with bold orange, earthy and spicy evergreen and crisp herbal hops. Medium body, nice assertively tingly carbonation.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2011 burnt orange. orange-tinted beige head. lasting retention. green, wet, vegetal hop nose (my common descriptor of these harvest/wet hop beers) with orange oil, wood oil, caramel malt-like flavor and smell. medium body, moderately chewy. somewhat dull and boring flavor-wise. seems past it’s prime, obviously, but doesn’t suffer from oxidation and has no noticeable effects of being lightstruck - the hops are simply dull, so I’m left with semi-sweet caramel and burnt orange malt and resinous, green hops. not one of their best efforts but the texture and carbonation are pleasant.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Poured a copper amber. Nose is light hops. Thin bodied at first then the hops shine through. Pretty tasty but the finish is big and bitter. Makes it really worth it.

Roasted start with heavy carbonation, dry bitter finish. Hops more mild then I expected. Halfway between an APA and an IPA. Good drinkable beer, but falls below the top tier of wet hops.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 unclemattie (3350) - Georgia, USA - NOV 14, 2010
22oz bottle. Cloudy, copper / light brown. Tall foamy head. Aroma of honey and cereal. Flavor of barley, biscuit malt and some sea air cured wood. Flavor kinda reminds me of the Dead Guy Whiskey (without heat). Not the best of my Rogues, although the quality is there.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 HopBackDoc (473) - Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 8, 2010
Poured a light amber color with thin head. Hoppy aroma. Flavor was sweet malts and grassy/earthy hops. Light bodied with a slightly dry finish. Very drinkable.
