Clear golden with little to no head. Aroma is slightly off vanilla. Flavor is a little mild for an imperial with slight notes of burnt oak. A little unpleasant. Wife: 2.8

650ml bottle. Not the right bottle for a pilsner, and luckily its not actually imperial (thank god) but it is pretty watery and savory, not great.

Frank (2869) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2014
This is an example of a lager in which basically everything was done wrong. It is slightly cloudy and very pale. Nose is of yeasted bread dough and it is buttery and watery once tasted with vegetable bitterness in the finish. It is really not worth drinking.

Pint on tap. Clear golden with a lasting spot of foam. Nose is toasted maize, honey and dry grass. Taste is the same. Light-medium body is to the sweet side and has medium carbonation.

Strykzone (4931) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUN 20, 2014
Sampled on the bus during RBSG. Clear gold with a white head. Much more gentle than expected. Kind of sour and lemony with grass and citrus. Hmmm. Pleasantly surprised.
