pours amber, almost tan head. good lacing. aroma is spicy. body is at least medium, caramel malts dominate with spice hints all around. minimal hop presence. boozy. all around very good, might want to limit myself to a couple of these though...

On Tap Tremont Tavern - This poured a dark brown to black color with virtually no head present. The aroma contained some nutmeg, chocolate, and spices. The flavor was a bit boozy with some cherries, nutmeg, chocolate, and cinammon. The aftertaste is somewhat sweet. Overall my only complaint was the lack of carbonation but a good effort.

Sweet amber malt, caramel, and anise int he nose. color is a cloudy, bubbly dark amber with a long lasting eggshell head. Flavor is sweet and spicy, warm, then a slightly stale biscotti aftertaste. the final mouthfeel is of smoke. On tap at Sluggo’s vegetarian cafe in Chattanooga.

Orange/amber pour with light white head and lace. Aroma is light spice and caramel. Flavor is caramel malt, light spice, a citrus orange zest, and a light/medium bitter. Medium bodied with decent carbonation. Nice beer for a winters day.

Draft. Poured clear, medium orange with not much going on for head. The aroma picked up sweet, toasty caramel and nutty notes with fresh, greener hop accents.. the malts weren’t very interesting, but overall it was serviceable. The flavor found the same malts plus some darker fruit at the core.. dry earthy and lesser floral bitterness surrounded.. sharp and assertive for no good reason at the end. Medium-bodied with low carbonation on the palate.. just OK feel and flow.. dry.

Red-orange, beige foam. Light spicyness, malty sweet, caramel, cocoa aroma. Taste is more sweet caramel, cocoa, suggestions of nutmeg and a light spicing in the finish.
