COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The brew is a tribute to the Chautauqua Lake Region of western New York. There was a time when brewers dotted the landscape over which eagles soured. Today two have returned. Specially brewed for the citizens of our fine county; this beer will not be sold anywhere but here. Inspired by the former Jamestown Brewing Company, defunct now for seventy-five years, this beer is brewed with only the finest ingredients and warranted strictly pure.

Thanks to HogTownHarry. Appearance: yellowish orange with lots of carbonation and a small white head. Aroma: a little grassy with hints of lemon zest & yeast, some slight cardboard notes too. Flavour: slightly grassy at first, corn too. A little bit of yeast in there. Nothing complex. I suppose that this is what the macros aim for when they say ’clean and crisp’. It’s quite the non offensive beer. Good for BBQ’s etc.

Bottle [12oz] courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a clear, bubbly gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of grain, honey, corn, bready malt and a light vegetal note. Flavour’s clean, which is good, but also quite dull, which is not so good. Taste’s grainy along with bready malt, a light sweetness and some very light hops in the finish. Average bodied. Meh, not my thing at all, it’s a relatively well made lawnmower Lager and I’m glad I got the rating but it’s not something I’d buy to drink.

Bottle. This cap was a pain in the ass to get off. Pours a clear yellow body with a small fluffy white head. Aroma is bready, straw. Flavor is weak pale lager, macro style. Slightly sweet, dry. Drinkable swill, very un-Southern Tier and certainly not an Amber ale as I’ve come to know one.

Bottle. Bright golden yellow pour. Hazy. Nose almost smells like a wheat. Not much hops in the scent. Basically goes down crisp, like a slightly better version of a mass-produced American lager. I think this would be better on a hot summer day.

Draught at New Beer. Grainy malty aroma, notes of wheat, banana. The color is pale yellow, tinge of red, white head. The flvaor is malts, cereal grains, wheat, banana, The finish is like the flavor, not much bitterness, more sweet. The mouthfeel is on the light side of medium. Not bad, not great. It’s a little wierd how this beer pulled in some of the characteristics of a weiss bier.

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Grainy malty aroma, light sweetness, light hops. The flavor also has grainy malt, with some light caramel sweetness and a hint of floral hops. Not bad.

On tap at the Empty Pint - poured clear deep golden, not really amber at all, with a frothy white head. Fruity, mineral green apple notes in the nose, and the flavour holds a pleasant light malt sweetness and mild hop bitterness in the finish. Solid, well-crafted all-malt lawnmower/fishing beer - nothing more, nothing less. Perhaps a golden/blonde ale? Seemed a bit light for an amber...
