COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our German style Alt, Lighthouse Amber, has a brilliant light amber hue. Its light tan head is thick, retaining, and laces the glass all the way down. Lighthouse Amber has a silky-smooth medium body. A Noble hop aroma up front finishes with a Carmel malt nose. Our old world brewing method brings out a light toasted-bread flavor you’ll want to savor again and again. It’s a mouthwatering and thirst quenching delight.

Had on tap. Virtually no head, very clear dark amber. Intense caramel nose. Very sweet--extremely caramely with no balancing char or bitterness. Better with food.

This is a fantastic alt. Really nutty and smooth with a great creamy body. I could drink this all night. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had it out of a bottle. Pours a brown hue with a thick yellow head the disappeared quickly. Has a sweet malt aroma with a tast that is hop, malt, bitter, with a watery finish.

Bottle; Pour is murky golden brown with a modest fine bubbled khaki head into this celebrator glass ; this one poured modest, with light lacing, and average retention. The nose is light nutty, grass, and bread here - its what you would more or less expect. What you don’t expect is a mild mannered, overly watery version of an alt that has elements of the style but does it in a boring/mild way. If the goal was a drinkable alt - I’m not really sure if this qualifies either

Draft at Reno's east. Deep copper with a beige head. Sweet apple and malts. A tad sour.

(From notes). Draft from MI beer and brat festival at Crystal Mt over Memorial Day Weekend. Pours amber. Aroma of caramel. Flavor is of caramel and some hoppy bitter. Would be a very nice beer if is wasn’t so watery. Still it is definitely drinkable.

Decent amber ale on tap at maggianos, nothing crazy here, dark amber hue, little aroma, but nice smooth finish

I had a couple of glasses as G’s in West Branch. It poured mid brown and had a nice thick frothy beige head. Thinner lacing. A malty aroma and this tasyed quite malty. Nice sweet fruit is pleasnt. Gentle hops are cotrus. Yeast is fairly big and brings biscuits. This is a nice beer for a place like G’s. It is very easy to drink with very little bitterness.

bottle. Amber with small head. Big bodied alt. I was expecting more of a generic amber, and this was a nice surprise.

Sucks because it is infected, was looking forward to trying this "traditional" altbier.
