Cask conditioned at Minehead Beer Fest ’11. Gold with white head. Quite thinnish on the palate, a light maltiness, a touch grainy, moving to a flowery hop with a pleasant dry finnish. Reasonable.

It’s rare to get this much hoppy flavour from an IPA without having to really ramp up the alcohol. Leaves other IPAs, like Bengal Lancer, in the shade.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. A pale gold and delightfully effervescent session bitter with delicate hops - flowery, slightly soapy, and sometimes powdery, but mostly engaging and refreshing. This is a light and refreshing beer with great conditioning. Nice.

500ml bottle. Poured a clear, sparkling golden orange with a lasting one finger foamy-creamy white head with good retention & a fair lace. Lovely bright aromatic hop profile. Zippy lemon citrus and tangerine aromas with a pale malt & floral hop sweetness. Light to medium body, firm on the palate, medium dry carbonation. Finishes with a dry, floral, pithy lemon bitterness. Dryer & less juicy on the tongue but nicely hopped nevertheless. Good bitterness. Bit too much carbonation initially but settles nicely. Well conditioned.

On gravity at the Barley Mow, Dings, Bristol 18/09/10. Clear gold with a decent white head. Grapefruit hop aroma with a suggestion of pine. Sweetish, slightly creamy, malt flavour with plenty more grapefruit and decent dry finish. Good to see Cheddar using plenty of hops.
