Originally a cask Autumn seasonal.
Goat’s Leap is a contemporary IPA that stays close to the style’s traditional roots. Full-bodied, strong and with a striking bitter finish, it’s a big beer brimming with hop character. Goat’s Leap is brewed using the best quality Maris Otter and Crystal malts and hopped with a blend of English whole hops.

Bottled bought at GBBF 2010. A dark golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of spices, malt, and sour vommit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, elderflowers, spices, and caramel, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear deep golden with a huge and frothy off-white head leaving quite some lacework. Typical British hops in the nose. Light body, very smooth mouthfeel, sweet fruit and a little licorice. Quite some bitterness in the finish. A decent drinker though. 100910

Bottled. Golden coloured, small off-wjhite head. Aroma is caramel, soem wood and mild yeast. Flavour is quite much the same. Rather dry and not too balanced esb in my opinion.

Bottled conditioned (ABV 5.7%, at Chriso, BB 07/2010). Amber color, medium-sized white cream head. Grassy hoppy, papery nose. Some grapefruit and mango in the flavor. Bitterish finish. A bit watery despite of being over 5%.
