Originally a cask Autumn seasonal.
Goat’s Leap is a contemporary IPA that stays close to the style’s traditional roots. Full-bodied, strong and with a striking bitter finish, it’s a big beer brimming with hop character. Goat’s Leap is brewed using the best quality Maris Otter and Crystal malts and hopped with a blend of English whole hops.

Pours clear amber with small off white head, nice lacing. Acidy, caramel, fruity and malty aroma. Bitter-sweet citric, slightly acidy flavor. Acidy crisp on palate. Finishes with a big tart-bitter hoppy aftertaste. Really nice IPA.

Bottle. Bronze beer with a light head. The aroma is toffee and roasted, and the flavour is dry, vinous and roasted toffee bitter. Overall a reasonable toffee bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Hazy gold with a firm off white head. Aromas are weetabix with woody notes and toffee. Marmalade with tea and mixed spices. Bready yeast with raisins. Flavours are toffee with low pine woodiness and lemon. Some grapefruit bitterness with herbal notes and a spicy finish. Reminded me a little of Goldminer. Pretty good.

Cask at Market Porter. Full malty body, a good excample of a good English cask ale where they have drawn the most out of the ingredients, ending up in a crisp bitter finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild yeasty and crisp citrusy hoppy. Sweet fruity, light malt base. Lingering citrusy fruity and sweet into a slight bitter finish. Nice one.

bottle at jens ... copper ... thin white lacing ...soft herbal grassy hop nose ... light bitter front ... little metalic ... soft fruits ... ok but a bit dull ... growing on me ... but still a little oddness

bottle from Darts Farm (08/2010). Hazy amber-colour, large and creamy head, citrusy nose. Rather shy malt base with dry and bitter hops that have a citrusy character. A bit thin, but with a clear presence of alcohol. A rough diamond.
