Bottle from 7/11, Bangkok. Pours deep gold with a small white head. The nose is pretty non-existant: I get some banana and sugary general sweetness. The taste is moderately strong grain, decent malt presence, some sweet fruits. The body’s light, the carbonation a bit more subtle than your typical Thai pale lager. Overall, not great, but not awful by Thai standards.

typowy lager koncernowy. niczym się nie wyróżnia od innych z tego rodzaju tańszych piw.

Clear pale golden beer small head, aromas of malt like bread and yeast like barnyard or leather are felt making it unpleasant the body is light and the flavor is pretty shallow and watery. In the can is written "world selection of quality - Monde Bruxelles". This is a clear example of why the Monde Selection Award doesn’t relate properly with the characteristics of a beer in terms of flavor, aroma, palate and appearance.

Poured from a can into a glass while in Thailand. Aroma is slightly grainy with a hint of sulfur an a light grassy hop character. Hints of floral notes, but fairly faint. Pours a very clear, pale yellow gold with a moderately thick, pillowy white head that has average retention. Medium light lacing and no legs. Flavor is similar to aroma with a faint sweetness, but a crisp dry finish. Light graininess with a low grassy hop character with hints of floral notes. Light bitterness an a touch of diacetyl. A light adjunct character. Faint staleness even though the can is less than a month old. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a middle of the road Thai lager. The malt character is a bit flabby and the hops too grassy. Fairly clean. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

@ Lanta Casuarina Beach Resort, Koh Lanta, Thailand. Burk från 7-eleven, Koh Lanta. Hyfsat maltig doft, även lite hö. Ganska söt smak, lite för lite beska. Törstsläckare, men ganska tråkig.

330ml Can in Melaka, Malaysia (RM6.00):
Light & quite sweet with some adjuncts and a basic lager taste that has some barely & a hint of bread in there too.
Pale straw with a bubbly, thin white head that turns to a patch lacing after a few seconds. The beer is very clear and light in colour.
Sweet & watery with a syrup like taste and some sugar too. There were a few grassy hops but overall the taste was very weak & bland.
Watery & bland as I’ve said already, this one was very light on bitter touches and had a faint citrus tang but nothing other than that.

A cheap but standard tasting Asian beer although it is one of the poorer Thai offerings I have had. A very average to poor macro lager with little in the way of taste or smell but at least it was drinkable and didn’t taste disgusting.

Drank from a tall can from a Bangkok 711. This beer has acetaldehyde and almost nothing else. A bit of grass on the nose and fairly sweet. Inoffensive except that it smells and tastes like carcinogenicity.

500 cl can. Another pale lager from Thailand. Somewhat dry, alcolhol is noticeable. Not bad as such but not something you will want do drink again.

500mL bottles many times when I lived in Thailand. Not as gross as Archa, not as booze laden and toxic as Chang, but more expensive than Leo in cans so not worth the extra money. It’s pale lager, no brew flaws, perhaps a more distinct raw grain character versus just a lemon bite perhaps with Leo. Fizzy clear straw pour, soapy fizzing out foam. Corn, lemon seltzer aroma. In taste some typical Thai lager grain and near corn/rice adjunct character. But again, if you are at 7-Eleven in Thailand, why not always go for cans of Leo? Never skunked, no opener needed, no dangerous glass waste, the cheapest beer in the country, and it actually tastes better than Singha the most expensive dumpy beer in the country. Overall, I’d say Cheers is one of the rarer macro lager in the country, the hardest to find is probably Archa, but you do not want to drink that believe me.

Clear golden color on the pour amd holds a thin, white head. Aroma is of staunch malt amd sharper grains. I’m sure its adjunct, just doesn’t smell like it though cuz corn malt is usually much sweeter than this. Its smoother on the palate and has a grassy, sweet malt flavor with a smooth, lighly gummy finish.
