330ml can whilst in Myanmar. Pours a clear light yellow with thin white head which lasted as long as I was drinking. Aroma is soapy, grassy and a little of eggs. Taste is sweet, slightly malty and tangy. After taste is weird and soapy.

Clear golden coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of very funky metal, malt, rice and a lot of alcohol - really, nothing pleasant in this one at all! Strong metallic and very funky cardboardie malt flavours throughout with a lot of bitterness, a ton of alcohol and nothing pleasant - pretty hard to get down the throat, actually. Aftertaste is slightly rice-based, some malts, but all alcohol and metal - period. Overall, a very poor offering in the land of pale lagers. I’m glad this is classified as a malt liquor - it is one and it’s plain and simple, not good, in Thailand in the USA or anywhere. You can avoid this of course, but if you want another rating, this is yours! I sampled this 50 cL can purchased from a minimart around the corner from my hotel in Karon Beach, Phuket, Thailand on 30-June-2014 for THB50,00 a few minutes later in my hotel in Phuket.

Can in Burma. This is a sweet, corn flavored malt liquor that has a terrible aftertaste.

Poured from a can into a glass while in Thailand. Aroma has a light, sweet graininess with a moderate alcohol note. Low grassy hop aroma with a hint of alcohol. Faint floral notes and a hint of sulfur. Pours a very clear, pale yellow gold with a small, thin white head that quickly recedes to the edges where it lingers. Light lacing and no legs. Flavor is similar to the aroma with a light sweet graininess and moderate corn adjunct note. Finishes fairly crisp and dry with a hint of the alcohol. Light grassy hop aroma and light floral note. Light diacetyl but no sulfur. Mouthfeel is light to medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a similar beer to the Cheers Beer, but with a more noticeable corn character and a less flabby malt presence. Lighter hop note and noticeable alcohol also differentiate this from its smaller brother. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

@ Lanta Casuarina Beach Resort, Koh Lanta, Thailand. Burk från 7-eleven, Koh Lanta. Doft av hö och malt. Ganska söt smak av malt. Hyfsad beska och en hyfsat lång, besk avslutning

500ml can from 7-11 @ Koh Lipe, Thailand. Foam stays nicely. Normal cheers was better.

Drinking this now, picked it up at a 7-11 just before the 2-5 ban on alcohol sales kicked in. Because it makes more sense to sell from 11-2 than 2-5, you see. Smells mainly of acetaldehyde with some grain alcohol, flavour is not too sweet, some bitterness even, not picking up any fusels. I expected this to be offensive, and it’s really not bad for what it is.

Clear, golden color with almost no bubbling and a fizzy white head. Aroma is wheel grassy malt and flavor is same plus bitterness plus alcohol. Just drink one... or better yet drink one Chang classic instead.
