Can@Hotel. Apples, pear and light bitter aroma and flavour. Like a East European strong lager. Likeable for South East Asia standards.

Can. A dark golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor sweet with notes of boring malt and a bit straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks MadsBerg for sharing.

Possibly the best Thai beer I’ve had but was saved in part by the high abv. Malt and alcohol lends a strangely attractive layer of sweet aniseed and fills he body out nicely.

Can at Papsø. Clear golden coloured with a small white head. Sweet aroma of caramel with notes of bread and alcohol. Malty flavour of caramel with noets of bread and alcohol. Burning alcoholic finish.

Can from Thai supermarket. The big brother of Cheers, this is a fairly decent and surprisingly well-balanced (alcohol-wise) strong lager beer which I see is somehow classified as a malt liqour although I fail to see the difference between this and your run-of-the-mill strong lager. Oh well. Drinkable enough, but nothing great of course.

Canned. Golden coloured. Clear. White dense head. Grass sweetness and straw in the aroma. Flavour of sweetness and fruits. Thin. Ends on a dry sweet note.
