Beer Snob (344), Ontario, Canada Oct 15, 2007 On Tap at an Indian Restuarant - Looked nice, but how’d they get a decent sized head on such a flat pint.
Went down easily leaving behind only the faintest grassy flavour and a slight metallic tang.
Was the keg in the restaurant stale, or is this just a crappy lager?
GregClow (2299), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 22, 2008 Bottle at some Indian restaurant on Queen Street West in Toronto. Pale gold with a small white head that disappears quicker than you can say "aloo gobi". Aroma is sweet and vaguely grainy & grassy. Body is thin and crisp. Flavour is light and not unpleasant, with no off-notes or obvious adjuncts, just thin malt and subtle hops. Pretty much what I expected, really. patricks110 (102), Alberta, Canada May 3, 2008 Unpleasant and skunky aroma. Nice yellow golden appearance. Very watered down. MrManning (1415), London, Ontario, Canada Feb 26, 2008 Bottle at Masse’s Inddian Restaurant- Sparkling gold pour, topped with a short lived bleached white fizz. Very subtle grass/hay aroma with lots of grain and sugar. Sweet grassy and grain flavour, slightly bitter and floral, but it is quite subtle. No real adjunct detectable, but not much in the way of flavour. Quick, spritzy finish. dkazuk (220), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Nov 10, 2007 341ml bottle. <br.
Clear golden honey with a foamy white head. Smells is dominated by crab apples and not much else. Taste is slightly sour with apples and a sweet finish. Well carbonated with a medium-light feel.
