UPDATED: NOV 5, 2005 Wow, this pale lager might be the best one in the world. Not the best example, but the best in general. Pours a sandy pale yellow, high carbonation, whispy white head, quickly disapating, no lacing. Aroma is of clear 2 row malt, light bready ness, herbal note, a slight hit of mildly bitter hops, with undertones of grassyness, anise, raw grain, slight almosy honey sweetness, and some rosey hops. Aftertaste is very dry with a hit of sweet-maltyness. Not ANYTHING like the beers I got in india, Molson Dry {canadian} being the most avalible beer in the country, but REALY good with spicy food. Perfect light malt to cancle the spice. Lovley, just lovley. Avalible at RESTURANT JOLEE, on victoria, the best {and now the only} srilankan resturant in montreal. Cheers

Bottle. Yellow/orange colour. Not much going on in the aroma. Watered down taste. Not great.

341ml bottle. Another fairly generic tropical/South East Asian lager. The description says they wanted to make a beer that goes with Indian and spicy food and they succeeded.

Single bottle purchased from Zyn Liqour on 06/24/2011. Colour: Very pale yellow with almost no head. Nose: Malty but with oranges and apple and a cardboard essence. Taste: Light sweet, light bitter, medium-light sour. A distinct tang here that somewhat resembles oranges but it fades immediately as the finish has an essence of shit, and that is being brutally honest....not that I eat shit on a regular basis.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2011 [3655-20110323] 341mL bottle. Mild corn-like grains aroma. Clear, pale orange yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Generic grassy wheat grains flavour has hints of sweet corn. Medium body. Would likely complement the food here, wonderfully wafting over from the buffet... (4/3/5/3/8) 2.3

Bottle - 341ml. Boring blond body with a thick, diminishing white foamy head. Bland malty/hoppy aroma with some corny and grassy hints. Its watery taste carries malty and corny notes. Ends with a short bittersweet finish. Useless.

330ml bottle sampled at The Modern Indian Buffet. Pours a golden yellow with a white head and lots of carbonation. Aroma is a little skunky. Taste is of grain and corn.

Bottle at India Palace. Appearance: light straw yellow with a tiny white head. Lots of visible carbonation. Aroma: Skunky grass, damp cardboard, rice and corn. Flavour: nothing really.... Hmm, rice & corn, quite a lot of carbonation, a soda water finish. Not a beer, like a bud lite soda water shandy. Pure piss.
