JoeMcPhee (6965) - Toronto, ON, - MAY 17, 2005
Hoppy aroma, spicy and citrusy... some combination of williamette and C-hops. Flavour is well-balanced with light resiny hops balancing the sweet caramel malt sweetness. Not a knock-your-socks-off hop monster, but a somewhat restrained interpretation.

Golden body, white head. Resiny hops, caramelly malt. Dry and bitter. Not very remarkable.

Draught@The Ginger Man, NYC
Clear yellow-amber color, small white head. Fruity hoppyness in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Fruity (peach, pine) hoppy flavor. Suprisingly feels much less than 7%. Piney finish. Standard, simple but OK.

Growler filled at Big Z and consumed later the same day. Pours a clear warm gold with a moderate white head that lasted until mid-glass and left considerable lace. Pleasant aroma of orange, lemon, pine and a bit of dusty malt. The flavor begins with malt and is followed by orange, lemon and pine. Moderate bitterness at the finish that is not overdone. In fact, some might say it is a bit timid for an IPA, but I liked it. Medium bodied. Solid.

On cask at Gingerman before the Furthur show. Leaves a thick band of impressive lacing. Aroma is hoppy and floral. The body is just slightly watery, but nice and hoppy with fruity and piney hop flavors. Peach, apricot, berries, and a smooth but bitter finish. Nice cask conditioned ale.

On tap at Lansdowne with Andy, James, PJ, Chris. Killing time and watching football before PJ has to get the bus back to Philly. Dark amber pour, almost brown. Smells very hoppy. Tastes hoppy as well - very bitter. No sweetness at all. Not incredibly balanced but tasty if you’re just having one.
