blipp (3920) - Newark, USA - SEP 12, 2011
Draft. Pours cloudy goldenrod with a white head. Light floral hoppy aroma with pale crackery malts. The flavor is relatively clean and well balanced, with notes of floral hops and pale malts. Not bad, but a weak effort for an IPA.

ttutony (538) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 21, 2011
Light copper in the glass. Floral hop aroma. Floral and citrus hops on the palate with a bready, grainy malt backdrop.

scarletfire65 (522) - Rockaway Park, New York, USA - SEP 17, 2011
Cask at Gingerman. Fruity aroma, peaches, stonefruit, wet hops. Flavor is much the same, but underhopped. Overall it was underwhelming.

puzzl (3093) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 9, 2011
Tap at the pub (I don’t know why I do this to myself). Weak aroma, thin, worthless flavor, almost no hop presence whatsoever. A half-assed APA at best.

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 2/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 15/20
jredmond (2820) - Manhattan, New York, USA - SEP 7, 2011
Draft at Pony with Andrew, Bredan, Streets and Baron. Pours a clear amber body with thin lacing. Aroma is herbal, light fruits. Mouthfeel is thin with nice notes of tea, fruit, apricot, lightly grassy and some other herbal spices I can’t quite put my finger on. Definitely seems too mellow for the IPA style - but unique.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2011 On tap at pony bar. Tastes like tea... Mild and tam, Earl grey but less peppery.

On tap at Pony with Andy, Streets, Baron and James. Boring, glossy gold pour with a soapy head full of medium-sized bubbles that streak down the glass and leave no trace. Aroma is minimal - some herbs - rosemary maybe (based on the rosemary parmesan bread at Quizno’s). Also some hoppy nose. Mouthfeel is rich and creamy; flavors are masked but that’s kind of cool b/c it’s like a scavenger hunt. Anyway, nothing impressive but cool to try. Wouldn’t drink more than one.

tap @ Jimmy’s #43. buttery pale ale. medium golden orange color. medium mouthfeel. decent bitterness, tad buttery. ok

cask at Blind Tiger - nice and herbal... like a well brewed tea. very mild and mellow.
