In short: A basic blonde pale ale with a sharp citric and citrusy bitterness.
How: Tap at Ginger Man, NYC
The look: Partly cloudy golden body topped by a medium off-white head
In long: Lightly hoppy nose with citrus fruity and some pine needles. Taste is bready pale malts, cookie dough, citrusy hops (mainly grapefruits), lemon and green pine needles. Bitterness level is medium and a bit sharp. A bit acidic in the finish and after-taste. Aggressive carbonation. Moderately tasty but a bit rough, not the type of Pale Ale I would drink all night long. A very average offering from Chelsea, one of rare brewery on the island of Manhattan, the National Skyscraper Park.

Cask pour at the Pony Bar, NYC. Clean semi-cloudy orange pour, with a bright and lively head. Very fresh hops in the nose, aromatic, like dry flower petals with fruit. Full, creamy mouthfeel. Flavors a bit more muted than the nose, but still buoyant, with all Cascade hops, a bit of tea and solid malts.

Growler from Big Z. Pours a cloudy light brown-orange with a small but thick white head. Aroma of bready malts, light fruits. Flavor is again dominated by bready, starchy malts with a hint of fruits. Not very hoppy;definitely malt dominant. Overall I found it to be on the bland side although it was decently drinkable. 7/4/6/3/12 [3.2/5]
