3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at Barcade. Tight white head over a slightly hazy amber pour. The nose is really quite nice. Lots of spicy rye malt and a touch of clove that is backed by a nice light citrusy hoppiness. Flavour is quite nice with loads of malty spice and some light fruitiness as well. Soft creamy palate with a nice earthy bitterness on the back of the palate as well. Warming really brings up a nice orangey sweetness. Pretty nice beer... especially on cask.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Pony Bar. Pours a clear, amber-orange with a medium, white head. Aroma holds light malty notes, rye grains and earthy hops. Flavor is of moderate sweetness with a distinctly alternative malt character, bready, and finishish with modest bitterness. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. A decent beer.
