Garnet red pour with bright pink big head. Smells fake and like cough syrup. Flavor is better, sweet, but not as sweet as lindemans, fruity fake candy syrup. A good bit of carbonation helps cut the sweetness a bit. not the worst i’ve had.

Bottle at Haymarket Pub in Chicago, October 21, 2011. Instead of dessert, I drank this beer. Extremely sweet with aroma and taste of mostly raspberries. 5% alcohol, what are you talking about?

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Tulip. Appearance: Gorgeous red with thick pink head and nice lacing. Aroma: All raspberry - tart and sweet. Taste: Mostly just tastes like raspberries, fairly sweet ones at that. That is some light tartness at the finish, but I am really not getting much complexity. Palate: Moderate carbonation, fairly light but juicy body, somewhat tart finish. Overall: This is just pure raspberry juice. Too simple, but no doubt tasty, and quite refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a mahogany brown with a thin to medium sized off white head. Sweet raspberries, fuzzy and full of seeds. Very sweet, medium bodied, lightly sour. Sourness isn’t as big as the cloying sweetness though and gets overtaken rather quickly. More big raspberry flavor, seedy again. Finishes with more sweet raspberry syrup, and a bit of a sour candy flavor.

Raspberry and a hint of cherry in the aroma while the appearance is red-amber. The flavor is heavy on the raspberries and has an edge of tartness. Not much beer or ale flavor to it, pretty good otherwise.

Sampled from an8.4 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy red-plum color with a small pink head that left a touch of lacing. The aroma was sweet tangy raspberry with notes of sugar and red meat. The flavor was tart and tangy raspberry with a sugary and yeasty undertone. The finish was long, tart and tangy berry. Medium body. Nice.
