Nice lager, but taste largely varies from barrel to barrel. Sometimes the taste is excellent (especially from tap), sometimes it’s very plain.

Oddly for a Ukrainian beer, this has no off-flavours. Especially odd considering that this is not the most modern brewery on earth. The beer does has some haze issues, but otherwise has a full, malty, grassy-hoppy palate - surprisingly good lager.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks DSG for being so selfless and helping me achieving the 100oth rating milestone in such a respectable and appropriate way! Clear, golden with bubbly white head. Artificial malty and a little H2O aroma, faint corn too. Sweetish, malty taste. Refreshing, light-bodied, softish fizz, sweetish finish. Not bad at all.

Bottled 50cl. Appearance: It pours a beautiful golden beer with a nicely remaining, average sized white head. Lively carbonation. Some lacework. A lot of corn in the nose which is accompanied by melon and cork. A slight hint of boiled vegetables showing up. Sulphury. Flavor and palate: Malty, bready. Easy drinkable. Sweetish taste. Light bodied. Low bitterness. Some cork and lemon sneaking in again. Corny. Dryish finish with hints of melon. Overall impression: A pleasant beer. Interesting.

Bottle, small bubbly head, clear gold with bronze hints, aroma of herbs and vanila, flavour of honey, fruits and herbs. pleasant long lasting medium bitterness, quite dry. Clean and satisfying.
