Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival 09-05-08 Amber pouring beer, quite solid if uninspiring, more malty than fruity, more sweet than bitter, bit caramelly but it’s decent enough for a 3.7% beer if just a tad safe.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’08. Amber with white head. A late addition to the Festival and it certainly cleared quickly, within a day. Pretty standard session ale material, low flavoured malty bitter with a dry tea like hop, in fact it was like drinking cold black tea. I’m painting the wrong picture though as it wasn’t bad, just average.
