A Mes rate: Cask at the Wenlock.
100% K on the colour setting with a thin tan rim. A nice roasted malt fronted stout with delicate sour and smoky notes. A little bit fatty and oily in the finish but it just about gets away with it. One dimensional but drinkable enough.

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Clear dark brown color with a small, virtually none appearance, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, head. Aroma is moderate malty, coffee, wood notes, smoke - peat notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a coffee dusty dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (030508)
