Poured a dark brown color with red edges and a small sized off white head. Aromas of roast and light chocolate. Tastes of chocolate, roast, light vanilla, and a little smokey. Aromas of roasted malt, bitter chocolate and a hint of coffee. Palate was medium bodied, creamy and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, bakers chocolate,and a hint of coffee with a smooth, bitter finish. Aubrey (2592), Denver, Colorado, USA Jun 12, 2003 Dark black with a creamy brown head. Roasty with a big smoky note. Medium bitterness seems to balance it out somewhat. One of the better Cheshires I've had.
