On tap GABF ’02: Hmmm...Chocolate. D’oh! Flat. Wuhoo! Clear dark brown with a nice head. D’ohh! Boring light porter taste. Better than the sum of its parts.

Dark and clear with red hues. Low, smooth carbonation. Sweet and chewy with a bit of roast. Finish is wet and lingering with notes of chocolate and hints -- hints I say -- of fruit.

Draught. Dark brown to black. Aroma is moderately malty (light bread, roasted grain, dark chocolate, mild coffee), with a note of raisin. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Needs more bitterness to balance it, but it’s pleasant.
